Kim Riley is a decorative painter and has been teaching with Career Development for 17 years.  She is a published artist being featured in various decorative artists magazines.  Kim has taught Faux Finishing classes for the past 7 years also.  The students in her class have had some hands on training at some of the area homeless shelters making their new talent a project that they really could sink their teeth into  the Burns Harbor career center was also a painting project that the students completed.  The classrooms, hallways, and bathrooms are quite a beautiful example of what they worked on.  Kim is currently teaching a variety of classes for the program.  Wreaths for all occasions, Crazy Fun Canvas Painting, furniture Painting and a class using a social media favorite Pinterest.
